How long have you lived in Townsend? Since 2003
Where do you live in Townsend? Town-send Station
Educational Background: Graduated from Skadron Business School, San Bernardino, Ca.
Professional Experience: I have extensive business experience, owning my own business for more than 30 years. I have worked in the Town of Townsend office on a continuous basis for the past three years. I was instrumental in the total re-organization of the Town Hall – doing all financial activities, working closely with our town auditor and saving the town approximately 55 percent in needless spending.
Why do you want to be re-elected? I believe that I can continue to work on the town issues at hand. Constructing the Town of Townsend Municipal Park, so our children will have a safe place to play and our town residents have a place to be with family and friends. Making the Town of Townsend a safe and charming place to raise a family or retire.
What do you see as the most important issue in Townsend? How would you deal with this issue if you were elected? I believe that there is no one issue that is more important than the other. We as a council need to work on our storm water drainage issue immediately. We are working now with our town engineer to help rectify the problems at hand.
What is one thing you would like to accomplish to help improve the town if elected to council? There are many things that I would like to accomplish here in town. Several being the opening of the town park, working our town charter to have the residents vote for the town mayor, among other town charter items, beautifying our town streets and keeping the town a safe environment to live.
What would you like Townsend to look like when your term concludes in two years? I would like to see the town continue to have yearly functions for the town residents and their families to enjoy. To have everyone work together to keep the charm of our town and to keep the town a safe environment to live in.
