The Smyrna Opera House will host the “Smyrna’s got Voice” finale with four finalists, including Townsend’s Katie Loftus, Saturday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m.


    The Smyrna Opera House will host the “Smyrna’s got Voice” finale with four finalists, including Townsend’s Katie Loftus, Saturday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m.
    Other finalists are D.J. Evins of Magnolia, and Kathy DeLong and Kelle Washington of Dover.
    Each performer will have an opportunity to sing two vocal selections that best showcase their voice while after each performance a panel of three judges will provide constructive criticism and helpful hints.
    Audience members will vote for their favorite three performers with the top vote getter claiming the first Smyrna’s Got Voice title. Some of the contestants will even be invited to sing at the Opera House Annual Meeting on Sunday, June 7.
    Advanced tickets are $10. Tickets at the door are $12.
