Holger H. “Rusty” Harvey of Odessa passed away Monday, May 31, 2010, in Christiana Hospital. He was 69.


    Holger H. “Rusty” Harvey of Odessa passed away Monday, May 31, 2010, in Christiana Hospital. He was 69.
    Mr. Harvey was born Oct. 13, 1940, in Hollywood, Fla., son of the late Edmund H. “Ted” and Jeanne Harvey.
    He began his career with Delaware Wild Lands in 1967 and became executive director in 1978.
    Mr. Harvey was an accomplished decoy carver, hunter and outdoorsman.
    He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kathleen H. Harvey; two sons and two daughters-in-law, William Russell and Jill Harvey and Robert Wayne and Sandra Harvey, all of Virginia; a daughter, Alice Browning Harvey of Odessa; a sister, Sally Lane Harvey; four brothers, Edmund H. Harvey Jr., William Andre Harvey, LeRoy Harvey and Bruce Ford Harvey; and six grandchildren, Tanner, Blake, Jaylin, Johanna, Connor and Brendan.
    Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, at Old Drawyers Church, 2839 DuPont Parkway, near Odessa.
