The 14th annual Olde Tyme Peach Festival 5K will be held Saturday, Aug. 21 at Silver Lake Park. The 5K starts at 8 a.m. and will be held rain or shine. Registration starts at 7 a.m., and a Kiddie K begins at 7:50 a.m.


    The 14th annual Olde Tyme Peach Festival 5K will be held Saturday, Aug. 21 at Silver Lake Park. The 5K starts at 8 a.m. and will be held rain or shine. Registration starts at 7 a.m., and a Kiddie K begins at 7:50 a.m.

    Awards will be for overall male and female winners and top three male and female runners in 10-year age groups. The 5K walk awards go to the top three male and female finishers.

    Olde Tyme Peach Festival 5K shirts will be given to the first 150 entrants. There will be post-race food and beverages.

    Proceeds will be donated to the Middletown and Appoquinimink High School All Sports Boosters. Race proceeds are used for scholarships for high school athletes who have displayed exemplary sportsmanship.

    The Middletown Athletic Club will manage the finish line.
