    The American Society of Heating Refrigerating and Air-conditioning Engineers Delaware Chapter will host its Regional Conference Thursday, Aug. 12, at the Christiana Hilton, Newark.
    The theme is Sustainable Buildings.
    The event will feature the following seminars:
    • The Future of Refrigerants with Barbara Minor from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
    • P. S. DuPont Middle School LEED Case Study with John Read from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
    •  Getting From AEDGs to Zero-Energy Buildings with ASHRAE Presidential Member Terry Townsend from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
    • Variable Primary Flow Chilled Water Systems with William P. Bahnfleth from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
    • Variable Refrigerant Flow Systems with Julian R. deBullet from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
    The cost is $150 for the entire day and $80 for a half day. Box lunches will be provided.
