  • Wanda R. Kendall 72, of Middletown, DE passed away peacefully on August 4th, 2012 with her loving family by her side.
Wanda was born on April 23, 1940 in Chestertown MD. After marrying her high school sweetheart in 1961, they moved to Middletown, DE.
She was a homemaker for several years then went to work for the NAPA Distribution Center in Middletown in 1972.  Following 22 years of dedicated service she retired in 1994.

Wanda also had a green thumb and could make anything grow which was evident in her many house plants.  Her most cherished times where spent with family. During the last few years she and her husband enjoyed going to the Sudlersville (MD) Senior Center where they spent many Thursday evenings playing cards and enjoying the live music.
Wanda was a very loving and caring person and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Christiana Hospital Surgical and Medical Intensive Care Units for the loving and skilled care she received while in their care.
