Appoquinimink H.S. sports tryouts begin Wednesday

Tryouts for Appoquinimink High School fall sports begin Aug. 15.

Prospects for the football team will be in the school’s auditorium at 8 a.m. Their day ends at 3:30 p.m. Players need to bring cleats, lunch and their DIAA physical if it is not already turned in.

Boy’s soccer will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for week one.

Field hockey will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Cross Country for both boys and girls will meet at 8:30 a.m. by the Jaguar Field House.

Volleyball tryout times will vary from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the first week.

Cheerleading will have mandatory conditioning Aug. 14 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Tryouts will be Aug. 16 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
