  • Middletown woman arraigned on felony theft charges

  • The Middletown woman who police say stole more than $11,000 worth of jewelry from a Smyrna residence has turned herself in.
    Nicole Hosler, 20, turned herself into Delaware State Police Troop 3 where she was arraigned on the felony theft charges, said Sgt. Paul Shavack. She was released on an unsecured bond.
    Police said that Hosler took the jewelry from the victims, a 31-year-old woman and 32-year-old man who live in the 200 block of Century Drive in Smyrna during a family function July 21.
    Hosler was also wanted by DNREC on misdemeanor theft charges, which she was arraigned on at Troop 3.
    Shavack said that she is no longer wanted.
