Delaware City trailer fire under investigation

The Delaware State Fire Marshall’s office is investigating a fire that nearly destroyed a house trailer on Aug. 18 in Delaware City.

Crews were called to the Delaware City Trailer Park, 115 Fifth St., just before 5 a.m. When firefighters arrived, they found one trailer in flames and two others with damage from the heat.

Damage to the main trailer is estimated at $50,000. No one was hurt.
