  • Teen charged in Glasgow burglary

  • A 17-year-old male has been charged with a Sunday night burglary that occurred in the Glasgow Court Trailer Park.
    The teen, who's name was not released due to his age, burglarized a home in the 200 block of Ingram Street around 10:16 p.m., police said Tuesday.
    When New Castle County police arrived, the suspect was seen running from the 28-year-old male victim's residence.
    The suspect was apprehended by police as he headed for a wooded area near Kyle and Albert Streets, police said.
    The suspect appeared out of breath and was in possession of a game controller and a television remote that police said were taken from the victim's residence.
    The victim's 42-inch television was also located in a nearby playground on Kyle Street.
    The teen suspect was charges with burglary and theft and released on a $8,500 unsecured bond.
