The muddiest event in Middletown is just around the corner.
The Delaware Mud Run, which benefits the Leukemia Research Foundation of Delaware, will return to Frightland on Sunday, Sept. 23.
The 5K is a race with boot camp style obstacles that have either been surrounded by or filled with mud.
‘Mudders’ run the approximately 3-mile race while diving, swimming, climbing and crawling their way through mud to victory.
The deadline to register is Sept. 17 and costs $240 per four person team.
Even if you’re not a Mudder, you can still sign up to volunteer at the event, or just go to watch your friends and family get really, really dirty!
