  • A Middletown man was arrested Sept. 8 when police found him to have 28 grams of marijuana in his possession during a traffic stop on U.S. Route 301.
    At 9:54 p.m., Middletown Police observed a vehicle on West Main Street with an equipment violation.
    The officer also recognized the driver, Shaquille Enty, 20, who already had his driving privileges suspended, police said.
    A traffic stop was made in the area of Peterson Road on U.S. Route 301 where the officer could smell a strong odor of marijuana in Enty's vehicle.
    Police said that they found 28 grams of suspected marijuana and about $1,000 of suspected drug money in Enty's vehicle.
    Enty was taken into custody and charged with possession, driving with a suspended license and failure to have a registration plate light.
    He was issued a $16,000 unsecured bond.
