The Appoquinimink High School football team shut out William Penn Sept. 21 27-0.
Quarter back Shane Anderson made a one-yard run in the first quarter for a touchdown, leading 6-0.
Wide receiver Codi Elias caught a 40-yard interception in the second quarter and kicker Andrew Jones made the field goal to bring the score to 13-0.
The Jaguars scored again in the second quarter when wide receiver Malacchi Esdale caught a 26-yard interception from Anderson.
Jones made another field goal, ending the first half 20-0.
Esdale scored again in the third quarter with a 55-yard reception from Anderson. A third field goal by Jones topped the score at 27-0.
Neither team scored in the fourth quarter.
