  • Middletown duo arrested with 195 bags of heroin

  • At 3 p.m. Sept. 25, police said that they stopped a car being driven by Ashkia Dickerson, 21, on West Main Street when they recognized her passenger as Kenneth Moses, 25, who had an active warrant for his arrest.

  • A Middletown man and Middletown woman were arrested and charged with intent to deliver when police said they found 195 bags of heroin in their car.
    At 3 p.m. Sept. 25, police said that they stopped a car being driven by Ashkia Dickerson, 21, on West Main Street when they recognized her passenger as Kenneth Moses, 25, who had an active warrant for his arrest.
    Police took Moses, who resides at 501 New Street, into custody, initially finding a small amount of heroin in the car.
    A further search of Dickerson's vehicle using a police K-9 turned up numerous bundles of heroin, each of which contains between 10 and 13 bags of the drug.
    Middletown Police also took Dickerson, who resides at 135 E. Lake Street, into custody.
    Both were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of heroin with intent to deliver, police said.
    Moses was committed to the Howard Young Correctional Center on a $30,500 secured bond and Dickerson was committed to the Woman's Correction Institution on a $10,500 secured bond.
