  • Traffic stop leads to drug arrest for Middletown teen

  • A Middletown teen is facing drug charges after police found more than 28 grams on marijuana in his car Oct. 8.
    At around 10:10 a.m. Monday, an officer stopped Christopher Lozada, 18, for a traffic violation in the community of The Legends.
    The officer, who pulled Lozada over on E. Whittington Way at Sheehan Drive, found 28.5 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, and packaging material in the car, police said.
    Lozada was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended license.
    He was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.
