  • The Appoquinimink Jaguars gained a win over the Glasgow High School Dragons Friday night, tying their opponent's 3-3 season record.
    The Jaguars won 28-7 at Glasgow, only giving the Dragons one touchdown in the fourth quarter.
    Running back Andre Connally made the first touchdown in the first quarter with a one yard run.
    In the second quarter, wide receiver Malacchi Esdale made a 35-yard pass to Tyree Short, ending the first half of the game 13-0.
    The Jaguars continued to dominate into the third quarter, gaining an additional nine points.
    Connally made a 42-yard touchdown run, bringing the score to 22-0 to enter the fourth.
    The Dragons finally got onto the scoreboard in the last quarter of the game with a two-yard touchdown run and field goal.
    This didn't keep the Jaguars from keeping the score gap far apart though.
    Short caught a 21-yard pass from quarterback Landon Archangelo, making the final touch down of the game.
    Despite a failed field goal attempt, the Jaguars still managed to beat their opponents by 21 points.
    In 2011, the Jaguars beat the Dragons 28-20.
    Both teams currently hold a 3-3 record for the 2012 season.
