An undercover investigation led to the arrest of a Newark man who has been charged with 25 counts of dealing child pornography.
An 18-year-old Newark man has been arrested and charged with 25 counts of dealing child pornography.
The Delaware Child Predator Task Force arrested Roosevelt J. Cubbage, Jr. Oct. 9 after executing a search warrant at his residence in the 4200 block of Cindy Drive and seizing two laptop computers containing images and videos of child pornography.
An undercover online investigation led to the arrest of Cubbage, charging him with distributing the images and videos over the Internet.
Police detained Cubbage after police collected evidence, said Jason Miller, a spokesman for the Department of Justice.
He was taken to Delaware State Police Troop 2 for questioning and based on that and the evidence sized, he was arrested and charged with 25 counts of dealing child pornography.
Cubbage was arraigned over videophone at J.P. Court 2 and committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of $250,000 secured bail.
