  • Police have arrested a Middletown man who they said burglarized the Moose Lodge in Middletown Oct. 8.
    Jedadiah D. Elliot, 31, was taken into custody by Delaware State Police Nov. 9 after a series of tips and other investigative measures connected him to the crime.
    On Oct. 8, at around 8:55 p.m., a surveillance camera captured a male suspect forcibly entering the Moose Lodge located at 450 Boyds Corner Road, police said. The suspect attempted to take items from within the building, but failed.
    Police said that the suspect then fled on foot.
    Elliot was charged with burglary, conspiracy, attempted theft and criminal mischief.
    He was released on a $3,750 unsecured bond.
