A 5K in memory of Teri Schall, Middletown High's previous athletic director, will be held Sunday at the high school. Registration starts at 8 a.m. and the race begins at 10 a.m.
Two Middletown High School students are hosting a 5K Sunday as their senior project. .
Millie Knowlton and Kayla Newton are holding a 5K Run/ Walk for Teri Schall Nov. 18 at the high school on Del. Route 299.
Before her untimely death three years ago, Schall was the school's athletic trainer.
She died in a car accident.
"Her death was a huge tragedy and took a toll on many people," Knowlton said. "The proceeds from this race will be going towards her sons' college fund."
The money will also be put towards a scholarship for a Middletown High student pursing athletic training.
Registration for the race will begin at 8 a.m. and the race will begin at 10 a.m. at the high school.
