Mount Harmon's Yuletide Manor House Tour will be Dec. 1 and Dec. 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. this year.
This is a holiday event the entire family can enjoy.
The tours are of the brick Georgian Manor House at Mount Harmon, which is decorated for the holidays with festive wreaths and decorative arrangements in the style of Colonial Williamsburg.
The decorations are made by the Greenfingers Garden Club, who use greens from Mount Harmon's Grounds, including boxwood, magnolia, pine, holly, and other seasonal favorites.
Holiday decorations and greens will be on sale during the event with Colonial Williamsburg-style decorations and greens also available.
There will be hearth-cooking demonstrations in the plantation kitchen and samplings of freshly made holiday sweets and Mount Harmon's special Wassail Punch.
For the children, there will be holiday craft making.
For tickets and more information, call the Mount Harmon Plantation at (410) 275-8819.
All proceeds benefit the Mount Harmon Plantation.
Tickets are $10 each; FOMH members pay $5, and children 12 and under are free.
The plantation is located at 600 Mount Harmon Road in Earleville, Md.
