The 48th annual Christmas in Odessa rung in the holiday season Saturday with hundreds of people flocking to the historic down town area of the small town.
Several of the historic houses, including the Davis Store and the Wilson Warner House were open for tours.
There were Christmas greens for sale and other holiday décor at the Christmas re-sale shop.
Boy Scouts from Troop 123 in St. Georges helped Teresa Baker sell Christmas greens as a part of a service project.
"The boys carried stuff to cars, helped with the historic houses, and were basically free labor for the stay," said Hunter Nicholas, assistant scoutmaster. "It teaches the boys service."
