  • Norma Lindstrom Rowe, age 77, of Middletown, DE passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2012, at her home.

    Norma was born on November 13, 1935, daughter of the late Horace and Erma (Critchfield) Lindstrom, and was raised in Maple Shade, New Jersey. She spent most of her adult life residing in Worton, MD and later in Laurel, MD. Norma moved to Middletown in 2003 to be closer to her brother.

  • Norma Lindstrom Rowe, age 77, of Middletown, DE passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2012, at her home.
    Norma was born on November 13, 1935, daughter of the late Horace and Erma (Critchfield) Lindstrom, and was raised in Maple Shade, New Jersey. She spent most of her adult life residing in Worton, MD and later in Laurel, MD. Norma moved to Middletown in 2003 to be closer to her brother.
    After 40+ years Norma retired as a Project Manager from the U.S. Government, Department of Agriculture. Norma enjoyed shopping, sewing, crafts and spending time with her family. She was giving and generous to those less fortunate.
    Norma was predeceased by her parents, her husband, James Robert “Mike” Rowe  in 2001, and her sister, Carol Mason, in November 2012.
    She is survived by her brother, Robert (Judy) Lindstrom, her sister, Linda Lindstrom, both of Maple Shade, NJ, and her brother, Duane Lindstrom (Kathy) and their children, Kyle, Corey and Alex Lindstrom and Matthew and Meghan Logullo, all of Middletown. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
    Norma's family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at the Helen F. Graham Cancer, her caregiver, Samantha Gallaher and Visiting Angel, Sandra Thornton for guiding us on this journey; we will be forever grateful.
    Funeral services will be held 11 am on Saturday, December 15, at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad Street in Middletown, where friends may visit with her family from 10:00-11:00 am.  Interment will follow in Still Pond Cemetery, Still Pond, MD.
    In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, 4701 Ogletown-Stanton Rd, Suite 3400, Newark, DE 19713.
