  • Middletown man awaits extradition to New York

  • A Middletown man wanted by the New York State Division of Parole as an absconder stemming from an assault charge was taken into custody by Middletown Police Dec. 12.

  • A Middletown man wanted by the New York State Division of Parole as an absconder stemming from an assault charge was taken into custody by Middletown Police Dec. 12.
    Delroy Carter, 24, who resides in the 200 block of Liborio Driver, was wanted for the Dec. 2008 assault charge.
    Carter was located by police at around 3:30 Wednesday in the 300 block of North Broad Street, in the company of Anthony McGure, who was wanted by police for a sex crime, police said.
    Carter was taken into custody and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Facilty without bail pending extradition back to New York.
