  • Hundreds lined the Broad and Main streets Tuesday for Middletown's weirdest annual tradition – the Hummers Parade.
The event features local residents – sometimes in costume or upon hastily constructed floats – spoofing news events, celebrities and popular culture.
Participants often push the envelope – one of the things that's made the parade so popular over the years. While thousands flock to Philadelphia for a glimpse of the colorful Mummers each New Year's Day, M.O.T. clearly prefers the off-color Hummers.
