A Bear man was arrested Friday on multiple counts of dealing child pornography.
John William Crowley, 40, who resides on Landau way in Bear, was charged with 25 counts of dealing child pornography by the Attorney General's Child Predator Task Force.
During the online investigation, detective obtained several files containing child pornography, and additional investigation and surveillance led to the execution of a search warrant Jan. 24 at the residence on Landau Way, said Department of Justice spokesman Jason Miller.
Task Force Detectives and a Delaware State Police Trooper seized computers, cameras, storage devices, and other digital evidence.
A forensic preview of the evidence turned up more than 25 photographs and videos of child pornography, Miller said.
As a result, Crowley, who was named the person of interested, was arrested and committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Institute in lieu of $250,000 cash bail.
