  • Middletown police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man who robbed Fulton Bank at gunpoint last month.
    The Middletown Police Department on Thursday released a computer-generated illustration of the suspect based on descriptions provided by witnesses.
    The suspect is described as between 5’5” and 5’7”, 160 to 190 pounds, stocky, with a balding, clean-shaven head and an unshaven face. He last was seen wearing a tan jacket.
    Police say the man was carrying a handgun when entered the Fulton Bank branch at 468 W. Main St. about 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 25 and demanded money from a female teller.
    After making off with an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the area in dark-colored, four-door Buick sedan.
    Anyone with information about the bank robber’s identity or whereabouts is asked to call Middletown police at (302)-376-9950 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) 847-3333.
