  • Motorcyclist hospitalized after Easter morning crash

  • A 33-year-old Middletown area man is in critical condition after being thrown from his motorcycle in the Willow Grove Mill neighborhood early Sunday morning.

  • A 33-year-old Middletown area man is in critical condition after being thrown from his motorcycle in the Willow Grove Mill neighborhood early Sunday morning.
    Kory Dyer, who lives in the 600 block of Port Penn Road, was riding a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle west on Trupenny Turn, near Hampden Road, sometime before 3:20 a.m. when he lost control and struck a curb, according to Middletown police.
    Dyer, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered head trauma and was flown to Christiana Medical Center.
    Speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash, police said.
    No charges had been filed as of Sunday afternoon.
    An investigation is ongoing, police said.
