Style, beauty and fashion were on full display Saturday for Middletown Main Street's inaugural Fashion on Main event.
The extravaganza combined the excitement of a Hollywood red carpet gala, the glamour of a high-end fashion show and the shopping experience of a spring bazaar.
The event began with Nick Manerchia from the Premier Centre for the Arts conducting on-camera interviews with the attendees and models as they entered Connection Community Church on West Green Street, followed by a fashion show that featured runway models wearing the latest clothing and accessories on sale at First & Little, Nichole J Boutique and Femme Fatale Boutique.
Fashionistas and passers-by also enjoyed an open air market in parking lot of Forest Presbyterian Church at 44 W. Main St. that showcased about a dozen local vendors of beauty, style and fashion-related merchandise.
