  • John F. Alexander, 85, of Concord Twp., PA, died on June 8, 2013 at Jefferson Hospital. Born to the late Jesse and Katherine Garver Alexander, he was raised and educated in Philadelphia, PA, earning his engineering degree from Drexel Univ. John was an active resident of Concord Twp., PA for the past 42 years, serving in many roles for the township. He was the founder of Tidewater Utilities, Inc. which operates throughout the state of Delaware. An avid antique car collector, John and his wife, Sharon, belonged to several car clubs in PA and NJ, enjoying many tours throughout the U.S. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Alexander. Survivors: Wife of 40 years, Sharon DePue Alexander; children, Jeffrey Alexander, Deanne Ross and husband Scott, Stephen Alexander and wife Karyn; along with 5 grandchildren, Katie and Shannon Ross, and Amy, Randy and Jake Alexander. Memorial Service: Sunday June 23rd, 3:00 PM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA. Visitation: Sunday 1-3 PM at the Pagano Funeral Home,3711 Foulk Rd, Garnet Valley, PA.
