What’s better than drinking a few good beers – how about drinking a few beers while gorillas watch you and get jealous?

The Franklin Park Zoo is hosting its fourth annual Brew at the Zoo on Aug. 17 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The event will feature beer from many breweries, some cider and food from local events. zoo

Tickets are $50, and the money will go to help support the operation and continued growth of the Franklin Park Zoo.

Participating cideries and breweries are Bantam, 3 Beards, Beer Works, Blue Hills, Brooklyn, Cambridge Brewing Company, Clown Shoes, Do Can, Dogfish Head, Full Proof, Harpoon, Lagunitas, Long Trail, Mayflower, Newburyport, Narragansett, Paper City, Peak Organic, Rapscallion, Samuel Adams, Slumbrew, Smuttynose, Traveler, Union Station, Watch City and Woodchuck.

Tickets go on sale on July 2.
