Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 42-year-old Wilmington woman accused of forging prescriptions for painkillers.
Yvette D. Shupe of Wilmington is believed to be staying in motels in New Castle County and Cecil County, Md., according to Delaware State Police spokesman Sgt. Paul Shavack.
Shupe, whose last known address is in the 400 block of West Newport Pike, allegedly used forged prescriptions to acquire the narcotic oxycodone from pharmacies in the Stanton area, Shavack said.
She is wanted on warrants charging her with three counts of obtaining a controlled substance by forgery of prescription and three counts of second-degree forgery.
Anyone with information about Shupe’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Delaware State Police Drug Diversion Unit at (302) 834-2630, ext. 346.
