The Delaware Department of Agriculture will offer a line-up of free cooking and food demonstrations every day of the Delaware State Fair, July 19-27.

The demonstrations will be held at the Department of Agriculture's education building located between the Kent Barn and the Simpson building.

The following events include:

July 19:
3 to 4 p.m., fruits and vegetables; Fruit and Vegetable Growers of Delaware.
5 to 6 p.m. healthy eating on a budget; University of Delaware.

July 20:
3 to 4 p.m. giant sundaes, Delaware Dairy Princess Committee.
5 to 6 p.m. how to carve a chicken, University of Delaware.

July 21:
1 to 2 p.m. and 3 to 4 p.m. home brewing, Dan Woodall, Delaware Department of Agriculture.
5 to 6 p.m. benefits of real Christmas trees, Delaware Christmas Tree Growers Association.

July 22:
1 to 2 p.m. planting Hope in Delaware, Dr. Faith Kuehn, Delaware Department of Agriculture.
5 to 6 p.m. samples and dairy trivia, Delaware Dairy Process Committee.

July 23:
1 to 2 p.m. cooking with fresh produce, T.S. Smith and Sons.
3 to 4 p.m. watermelon banana split, Mar-Del Watermelon Association.

July 24:
1 to 2 p.m. Japanese cooking.
3 to 4 p.m. fire and ice salsa, Mar-Del Watermelon Association.
5 to 6 p.m. Japanese cooking.

July 25:
1 to 2 p.m. Japanese cooking.
3 to 4 p.m. cool salads with chicken, Delmarva Poultry Industry, Inc.
5 to 6 p.m. Japanese cooking.

July 26:
1 to 2 p.m. and 3 to 4 p.m. cooking with beef, Delaware Beef Advisory Board.
5 to 6 p.m. refreshing spinach and cilantro salad, University of Delaware.

July 27:
1 to 2 p.m. fun summer dessert: grapes with ginger creme, University of Delaware.
