Four roads in Middletown will soon be repaved after Middletown Council approved the construction bid at the Aug. 5 council meeting.
Council voted 6-0 to award the project bid to Cirillo Bros., the low bidder, for $230,615. Councilman Jason Faulkner abstained.
The project includes milling and removing the current pavement, and repaving with a two-inch overlay on the following streets:
1. Garcia Drive in Cricklewood;
2. Franklin Drive in Greenlawn;
3. Diamond Drive in Lakeside, between Lakeside Drive and 515 Diamond Drive;
4. Lakeside Drive in Lakeside, from Silver Lake Road to Diamond Drive.
Work is scheduled to begin in early September, according to Kristen Krenzer, Middletown public relations officer.
