Four roads in Middletown will soon be repaved after Middletown Council approved the construction bid at the Aug. 5 council meeting.

Four roads in Middletown will soon be repaved after Middletown Council approved the construction bid at the Aug. 5 council meeting.

Council voted 6-0 to award the project bid to Cirillo Bros., the low bidder, for $230,615. Councilman Jason Faulkner abstained.

The project includes milling and removing the current pavement, and repaving with a two-inch overlay on the following streets:

1. Garcia Drive in Cricklewood;

2. Franklin Drive in Greenlawn;

3. Diamond Drive in Lakeside, between Lakeside Drive and 515 Diamond Drive;

4. Lakeside Drive in Lakeside, from Silver Lake Road to Diamond Drive.

Work is scheduled to begin in early September, according to Kristen Krenzer, Middletown public relations officer.
