  • "Stone's Throw" performed on Cochran Square and "3 Day Weekend" jammed at the Forest Presbyterian Church parking lot during the summer's final "Music on Main" event sponsored by the Middletown Main Street program on Friday, Aug. 17.
A variety of artists and vendors participated in the event on Main Street in downtown Middletown.
The evening featured more music from guitarist Bill Kintzer at the Gibby Center's opening reception for the "Art from the Heart" silent auction.
Several downtown merchants had sidewalk sales and extended evening hours.
Although this was the final "Music on Main" event this summer, another special night is coming up on Tuesday, Sept. 10 downtown with "Heroes Night Out" -- a salute to local police officers and firefighters from 6 to 8 p.m.
