Relay For Life of Middletown and Filasky's Produce are teaming up to host the “Pink Pumpkin Hay Ride & Bonfire” on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. The community is invited to enjoy the events kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month including food, refreshments, an auction, a 50/50 drawing, and a raffle for a pink pumpkin.
The Relay For Life of Middletown and Filasky's Produce are teaming up to host the "Pink Pumpkin Hay Ride & Bonfire" on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m.
The event, kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness month, will be held at Filasky's Produce, Bunker Hill Road, Middletown.
The American Cancer Society will be available with information on early detection, and the patient programs that they offer.
The Relay Store will be open in the gazebo with hoodies, t-shirts, and other Relay Gear for sale. There will be food and non- alcoholic beverages available, but please feel free to pack your own picnic and refreshments of choice. Picnic tables are available and there is plenty of room for blankets and lawn chairs.
Committee for the Cure will have a small raffle auction, a 50/50 drawing, and a raffle drawing for a Pink Pumpkin donated by Filasky's Produce.
Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society's signature event. It is a unique activity that offers everyone in the community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. It is a fun-filled overnight event held in June of each year designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs.
