Martha E. Unruh-Wilfong, 51, of Clayton,DE passed away in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013.
Born March 6, 1962 in Dover, DE, Martha graduated from the James H. Groves High School in 1988. She worked as a waitress for many years and had also worked at Avon. Most recently she had been employed at Five Below Distribution Center in New Castle.
She was a life member of the Odessa Ladies Auxiliary. Martha enjoyed riding motorcycles, collecting angels, dream catchers, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ruth Unruh and a brother Carl "Reed" Unruh, Jr.
Martha is survived by her husband Edward E. Wilfong of New Castle, her son, Russell H. Zern, Jr. of Clayton, her daughter Lacy A. Wilfong of New Castle,1 brother,R. Victor David of Texas, 4 sisters, Carlene U. Foraker of Townsend,Linda A. Riddagh of Smyrna, Karen U. Lepkowski (Francis) of Clayton, Cindy U. Williams of Odessa and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wed., Oct. 9, 2013 at 11 am at the Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 N. Broad street, Middletown. Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 7-9 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Old Drawyers Cemetery, Odessa.
