A 25-year-old Felton man is facing a slew of criminal charges after allegedly drinking, driving and shooting at road signs in the Middletown area last week.
Natural Resources Police and enforcement agents with the Division of Fish and Wildlife arrested Joshua M. James on the night of Oct. 12, after he allegedly fired a pistol at a road sign on Ratledge Road from the driver's seat of his vehicle, according to DNREC officials.
James is charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, first-degree reckless endangerment, DUI and stopping/standing/parking on a roadway.
He later was released on a $17,000 unsecured bond.
James also was required to surrender his weapons and adhere to a curfew pending his trial, DNREC officials said.
