  • A 56-year-old Middletown man was arrested Friday after a police raid at his home allegedly turned up heroin and marijuana.
Officers executed a search warrant at Scott Moon's home in the unit block of East Cole Boulevard about 9:30 a.m., after receiving numerous complaints from area residents regarding suspicious activity, according to Middletown Police Chief Henry Tobin III.
During the raid, police reportedly recovered 29 individually packaged bags of heroin, as well as 43 grams of marijuana, some of which also was packaged for sale.
Tobin said two young children were also in the home at the time of the police raid.
Moon is charged with possession of heroin, possession of marijuana and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
He later was released after posting a $14,000 secured bond, Tobin said.
