Smyrna Police have arrested a Clayton man for his alleged involvement with a drive-by shooting in October.
On Friday at 6:30 a.m. Smyrna Police with the assistance of Clayton Police and the Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement executed a search warrant in the 1700 block of Clayton-Delaney Road in Clayton. Police said Robert T. Barker, 26, was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Smyrna Police Department where he was charged with two counts of first degree reckless endangering.
Police said the arrest was in reference to an investigation into a drive-by shooting, which occurred on Oct. 15 at approximately 3:25 a.m. in the 100 block of Cummins Street. No one was injured during the incident, police said.
Barker was presented at Justice of the Peace Court 2 via videophone and committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of a $12,000 secured bond.
