  • A meteor from the Geminid meteor shower exploded over Tucson, Ariz., last night. Many residents heard the boom and looked up to see a spectacular show. The meteor shower peaks on Thursday, when 100-120 meteors will be seen per hour.

    Apple’s Siri has some competition, according to USA Today. A report from Piper Jaffray found that Google Now, its equivalent of Siri, answers questions with the same success rate that Siri does. Last year Google Now was far behind in accuracy. Both, however, still get a C+ grade and need improvements, the report said.
