  • Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old Middletown girl missing since Christmas Day.
Harley Mills was last seen at her home in the unit block of East Cole Boulevard around 6 p.m. on Dec. 25, according to Middletown Police Chief Henry Tobin III.
Police and the Delaware Division of Family Services have been conducting a joint investigation to locate Mills and return her home, he said.
Tobin said investigators believe Mills might still be in New Castle County and may be staying with an adult boyfriend.
No foul play is suspected in her disappearance, although anyone harboring or aiding Mills could be subject to criminal charges, he said.
Mills is described as 5’4” and about 100 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Middletown Police at (302) 376-9950.
Anonymous tips also can be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333.
