The Lady Riders improved to 5-2 Saturday, winning their third straight defeating Middletown 7-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Lauren Polinksi pitched four shutout innings for the Lady Riders, while Jordan Moseley came in for the three-inning save in the victory. Cassetty Howerin, Rosa’lynn Burton, Chaney Jones, and Mirabella Klebart all had multiple hits for the Lady Rider offense. Burton led the way at the plate tripling and slamming an inside-the-park homerun Saturday.

The Lady Riders used two-run innings in the first, second, and third to take a commanding 6-0 lead early, while Polinksi and the CR defense kept the Cavaliers off the scoreboard.

Sophomore Samantha Royston had a solid day at the plate tallying two of Middletown’s four hits on the day.
