  • A 37-year-old Clayton woman suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash in downtown Middletown late Tuesday afternoon.

  • A 37-year-old Clayton woman suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash in downtown Middletown late Tuesday afternoon.
    The collision occurred at the intersection of South Broad and Green street about 4:20 p.m., according to Middletown police.
    The Clayton woman was driving a four-door Volkswagen sedan north on South Broad Street when she was broadsided by a 2000 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck that was attempting to turn onto to roadway from westbound East Green Street, police said.
    The woman reported suffering back and should pain and was taken to Christiana Hospital.
    The driver of the pickup, a 16-year-old Middletown resident, was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
    Police did not release the names of either driver.
