A local kids venue is hosting its first big community event this weekend. And, even though the weather forecast includes sunny skies and mild temperatures, it's expected to be quite cold at Jump on Over.

For once, a whole host of children are hoping for a chilly reception at Jump on Over this weekend.

Why? Because the indoor inflatable facility is hosting its own “Frozen Experience” for local fans of the immensely popular Disney movie, “Frozen.”

Starting tonight at 5:30 p.m., kids who attend will be treated to a red carpet experience, a live performance courtesy of the characters Anna and Elsa, “Frozen”-themed spa treatments, dinner with the girls, themed crafts, karaoke and more.

“Frozen has become such a huge phenomenon with both kids and adults,” said co-owner Tonya Castora. “With its catchy songs and great story, we knew it was a perfect fit for our first big event.”

The event will cost $40 per child and parental supervision is required. However, parents will not be charged for admission.

“The entire facility will be transformed into a magical ice palace,” said Castora’s business partner and husband Kevin. “Anna, Elsa and Olaf will all be appearing and the girls are going to be performing popular songs from the movie.”

The event starts at 5:30 p.m., tonight and will last until approximately 8:30 p.m. Kids will also have the opportunity to attend Saturday and Sunday as well. For more information or to make reservations, call (302) 376-5867.
