The Everett Theatre's second annual Disney Cabaret will be performed at the Gilbert W. Perry Jr. Center for the Arts next door to the theatre.

Coming off of back-to-back sell outs, The Everett Theatre’s cabaret season continues this weekend with its second annual Disney Cabaret, to be performed at the Gibby Center for the Arts next to The Everett on West Main Street in Middletown.

Area singers and actors will perform some of the most popular, and some obscure, songs from the Disney canon.

Stephanie Bailey, a well-known face to Everett Theatre goers, will once again direct the cabaret. She notes that in “this Cabaret we have a wide range of songs from the very first Disney animated feature, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, to one of the most recent, Moana. We have a cast of 34, including those who are young as ten as those who are ‘old as time.’ Just kidding . . . no one is that old!”

What has impressed her the most how well prepared the cabaret cast has been.

“The rehearsal process is rather quick. The cast gets one rehearsal to learn their song, harmonies, and choreography, one brush up rehearsal, tech, and then it’s the show!”

The Everett’s Disney Cabaret will be performed Friday, March 23 and Saturday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 25 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10.

“If you like big dance numbers, sweet love songs, and all things Disney, then you will love this show,” Bailey said.
