The event features rides, games, music, raffle drawings and lots of delicious food.

The St. Joseph’s Carnival opened Tuesday, July 18, and continues through Saturday, July 22 at 371 E. Main St., Middletown.

Admission and parking are free.

Ride ticket booths open at 5:30 p.m. Discounts are available including the “ride all night every night megapass” for $45.

Free music each night at 7 p.m. features Tony Mowen tonight, Susquehanna Floods on Wednesday, Three Sheets Acoustic on Thursday, The Jimmies on Friday and Dysrhythmics on Saturday.

Raffles will be held featuring a $5,000 VISA gift card as the top prize, with a $400 Middletown gift bundle as second prize and a $200 Chesapeake City gift card bundle as third prize. Tickets are $10 each or three for $25.

Daily cash raffles will also be held with prizes of $200 tonight, $300 on Wednesday, $400 on Thursday, $500 on Friday and $2,500 on Saturday.

DINING OPTIONS

Indoor dining in the air-conditioned hall is available through Friday from 5:30-8 p.m. Here are the menus:

•Tuesday – barbecue chicken, barbecue pork, smoked beef brisket, green beans, corn on the cob, potato salad, corn bread, potato rolls, cole slaw and garden salad. For kids, chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and French fries will be available.

•Wednesday – ravioli, penne pasta, homemade meatballs, Italian sausage with peppers and onions, homemade chicken spezzato, vegetable medley, Italian bread and garden salad. For kids, chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and French fries will be available.

•Thursday – roast pork, smoked kielbasa, fresh kielbasa, homemade sauerkraut, homemade golabki (stuffed cabbage), homemade pierogis, mixed vegetables, homemade babka, rye bread, homemade mizeria (cucumbers and sour cream) and garden salad. For kids, chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and French fries will be available.

•Friday – homemade jambalaya, roast beef au jus, homemade meatloaf, mashed potatoes with beef gravy, string beans, potato rolls and garden salad. For kids, chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and French fries will be available.

Outdoor food booths are open each night from 6 p.m. to closing time featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, French fries, lemonade and drinks, desserts including funnel cakes, and much more.
