Millington, Md., police seek help in locating bank robber

Millington, Md., police are asking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed the Peoples Bank at 31905 River Road May 13. The suspect is described as an African-American man, early to mid 20s, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall, 160 to 170 pounds, with neatly groomed facial hair, and was last seen wearing dark clothing.

   Millington, Md., police are asking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed the Peoples Bank at 31905 River Road May 13.
    According to a press release, at 1:42 p.m. the suspect approached the teller, pointed a gun at the teller and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.
    Units from the Kent County Sheriff’s Office to include Uniformed Patrol, CID, and a K-9 unit responded and search for the suspect who was last seen on foot near the bank. The Maryland State Police Helicopter assisted in the search.
    The suspect is described as an African-American man, early to mid 20s, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall, 160 to 170 pounds, with neatly groomed facial hair, and was last seen wearing dark clothing.
    A cash reward is offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Those with information may contact Crime Solvers at 410-778-4444 or Lead Investigator Detective Cpl. Dennis W. Hickman at 410-778-2279. Callers may remain anonymous.
