A Townsend man arrested in prostitution sting in Dover last week. During the week of March 6, the Dover Police Department's Drug Unit and Safe Streets Units conducted an undercover operation in Whiteoak Park after receiving several complaints of males engaging in sexual acts inside the park.
The operation led to the arrests of six subjects, including Mark Barcus, 48, of the 3000 block of South DuPont Highway, after each approached an undercover officer and solicited him to perform sexual acts.
Barcus was charged with patronizing a prostitute and maintaining a vehicle for possession of marijuana.
