Delaware State Police said in a press release that Ashley Call, 18, of Townsend was killed when attempting to cross Route 13 south of the intersection with Route 71 around 3:41 p.m.
A 2000 Plymouth Neon, operated by Call, was traveling in the right thru lane of Route 13 northbound, approaching the Valero Gas Station at 4296 South DuPont Highway, which is located on the east side of the roadway, the DSP said.
