On Friday, July 24, Smyrna’s “Mighty” Mike Tiberi will box in the Young Guns event at Dover Downs Hotel and Casino. Bouts begin at 7:30 p.m., and doors open at 6:30.
Tiberi, a middleweight with a 10-1 record and four knockouts, will co-headline the card with Junior Welterweight Ryan Belasco (11-2-3, three knockouts). Tiberi’s opponent is to be determined. Belasco will fight Dean White (14-10-1, seven knockouts) for the WBF USA Junior Welterwegith crown.
Appearing on the undercard are Bernard “Rod Dog” Miller (2-1-1), Dover; light middleweight Clarence ‘Sony Bono” Taylor (13-22-4, six knockouts), Wilmington; light welterweight Mike “Strictly Business” Denby (2-3-2, two knockouts), Felton; and light welterweight Oscar Vasquez (3-1), New Castle.
Tickets are $30 to $75. Members of the U.S. Military Armed Forces will receive a 10 percent discount (limit four tickets) with military ID; military discount tickets must be purchased at the VIP Services box office at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino.
